SODVELON is an umbrella organization established for the welfare of dermatologists of Nepal. It was established in March 1992, with the main purpose of providing patronage to the existing and future dermatologists.

Currently this society has 200+ life members and 20 associate members. This society is mainly concerned with the academic activities of its members, which is achieved by regular conferences, CMEs, Panel discussions and so on. Participation in the international dermatology academia is also increasing every year. In addition, free health camps in different parts of the country and public health awareness programs are regularly conducted to accomplish social responsibilities.
